I'm Scout.  I'm a big, stout, bay BLM mustang, rescued with a bad case of founder, which is almost completely recovered now, thanks to the dedicated work of our farrier and the unfortunate absence of molasses from my diet.  I am sound to ride, and also very gentle and calm. I trailer and I am cooperative with having my feet handled. I am bay and 15.2 hh.

Behind me, you see my pal Hawk.

Hello, I'm Sundance and this is Erin, my handler.
She is nine.  I'm a strawberry roan pony and I would love to have a child of my own.  Here we are on our great winter pasture just after Christmas. Click on my picture to see more.

They call me Cloud.  I'm a 7-year-old appy-paint mare. I was auctioned off, destined for slaughter, because I was lame. I am about 13 hh.
Fortunately the man who controlled that destiny was kind enough to sell me to Fresh Start.  After a couple of weeks here my soreness went away.  I was glad, because the people found out how smart I am!  I'm gentle enough for a child to ride.  I need someone to love me, to bring out my sweet temperament

I'm Diamond Luck.  I had my foal, finally! He was born Easter night, and has an Easter egg on his forehead to prove it.  I will be available for adoption once Tharon has been weaned.

I'm a spirited young gelding-I answer to "Tootsie Roll." I was a stud when I was rescued from slaughter in August 2006.  I lead very well, with a rider on my back, but I don't know how to steer yet.  I'm eager to learn. I love people so much.  I trailer well and am very cooperative on the ground.

I'm Silly Wizard, an American Mustang saved from slaughter August 2005. I was starved, worm-infested and very sick.  Here I am August 2006. I love treats.  I want to be friends although I'm still wary of people.  I'm 14.2 hh,  sleek and trim and LOVE TO RUN.  When you win me over it will definitely be on my terms.

I'm Blue, a registered Tennessee Walker named for my unearthly, beautiful blue eyes.  I am black except for what you see on my face and two white socks on my back legs. I'm 18 yrs old and 15 hh. I'm  flashy, correct, gentle and well trained. I have excellent ground manners. My owners couldn't care for me any more and they were very sad to give me up.

My name is Talon, and I came from the auction block, (there's a story there) and I am The Horse Amanda Jumps On For Emergencies.  I am 14 hh, of Navajo mustang stock.  But in actuality, I am really a Mountain Horse Extrordinaire.  That's a new breed, the kids tell me.  How about that?  I guess they shouldn't have had me "surgically altered" after all.  I could have made a foundation sire!  Here we are near the top of Calico Trail.
